Our group is very young. It was created in 2005. Despite this, our members have been into re-enactment for a long time. Actually, we were a part of the group  "3ème Régiment Suisse 1806", but after some internal difficulties, our  members decided to leave this group.

 Thus, we formed a new group:

 "Les voltigeurs du 3ème régiment suisse".

Even though the names appear to be familiar, which often leads to confusion,  we want to express here that we no longer have anything in common, except for the historical name that we represent and which we cannot change. Because of our Uniform, we couldn't change the name of this regiment.

Moreover, many of our members were founding members of the original  group, this being the reason why we want to be known in Europe as

 "Les voltigeurs du 3ème régiment suisse"

What do we do?

 We are trying to recreate a group of soldiers of 1806 and their daily life.
 Men, which served Switzerland far away from their families and homes. Many of them never saw their birthplace again. Surely, we can't recreate their lives totally. The conditions were  harsh and we don't have enough time on a weekend to do this completely. Despite all  of this, we are trying our best to present accurate re-enactment; in terms of Arms Handling, geographical conditions and also life in the camp.
